India, Aug. 15 -- Jason Ardy, British academic and Cambridge University's youngest-ever black professor, who recently resigned over a plagiarism row, has passed away. Police found the 41-year-old unresponsive by police officers at his home in London's Battersea.

The London Metropolitan Police have not yet announced a cause of death. According to The Independent, the death is being treated as "unexpected" but "not suspicious."
