New Delhi, June 5 -- An X user recently posted about a commuter's experience with a cab driver sharing how the latter remained glued to his phone while travelling from Noida to Delhi. Does this mean that our screen obsession has now evolved from being a personal habit to a growing threat towards road safety?

With over 700 reposts and 160K views, the X post claimed that the Ola driver had a phone mounted near the dashboard that streamed on full volume the popular TV show Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. Upon raising the concern, this passenger reportedly met with hostility and was asked to leave the cab. Thus the comment section of the post got flooded with concerns, frustrations and familiar experiences.
