India, Feb. 10 -- Several users on Tuesday flagged problems while making digital payments through the Unified Payments Interface (UPI), with transactions failing across multiple popular apps.

Outage-tracking platform Downdetector showed a sharp spike in complaints related to UPI services, recording 577 reports around 7:00 pm.

As per Downdetector data, Google Pay alone accounted for 141 user reports by 7:07 pm.
