Iran rebuilding missile bunkers, not likely to reopen strait soon: US intel
WASHINGTON/New Delhi, April 5 -- US intelligence reports say that Iran has been rapidly restoring underground missile sites damaged by American and Israeli strikes, bringing them back online within hours, the New York Times reported. The report said that teams of Iranian operatives use bulldozers and quickly dig up missile launchers buried by US and Israeli strikes on underground missile bunkers and silos, and fire them again.
The intelligence reports indicate that Iran has retained a significant amount of its missiles and mobile launchers five weeks into the war, despite one of the stated goals of the US being to destroy Iran's missile capability, NYT reported.
