India, July 25 -- Sweeping restrictions across central Delhi continued on Saturday, with authorities rolling out fresh curbs in response to the ongoing Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) protest at Jantar Mantar, including the early closure of liquor shops, closed metro stations and an extension of the mobile internet suspension around the protest site.

The development comes as protesters continue to demand the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the NEET paper leak controversy.
