Inquiry panel submits report to LS Speaker
India, May 19 -- The three-member jurists' panel probing allegations of unaccounted cash discovered at the residence of justice Yashwant Varma submitted its report to Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla on Monday. "The report... will be laid before both Houses of Parliament in due course," a Lok Sabha Secretariat press release said. The development comes a month after justice Varma tendered his resignation to President Droupadi Murmu on April 9. However, the resignation has yet to be accepted by the President.
