New Delhi, Oct. 21 -- The Delhi Police on Tuesday said an inquiry has been initiated against a deputy commissioner of police (DCP) after an inspector complained of mental harassment by the former. Officers said the DCP and the inspector are posted in a specialised unit of Delhi Police. Last week, the inspector made a PCR call alleging he had fallen sick due to harassment by the DCP. He allegedly said the DCP has previously insulted him. A senior police officer at police headquarters said, "A formal complaint is yet to be lodged but we'll be looking into the allegations. The DCPalso advised shifting the inspector to another unit for lighter duty due to his mental health. We will question the DCP about the allegations."
