Inox plans Rs.1 lakh crore investment in clean energy
New Delhi, June 1 -- INOXGFL Group plans to invest Rs.1 lakh crore in renewable energy projects by 2030 through its green power arm Inox Clean Energy Ltd, said Devansh Jain, executive director of the group.
The investments will cover renewables, solar equipment manufacturing, and battery energy storage systems. The firm, which has a solar module capacity of around 6GW (both in India and the US), aims to raise it to 11GW within a year.
Jain said InoxGFL is scaling up solar manufacturing ambitions with a mix of greenfield expansion and overseas acquisitions. Its investments also include expanding its Africa renewables business, he said. The group's annual revenue is around Rs.6,600 crore.
