Rohtak, March 24 -- Former chief minister and Leader of the Opposition (LoP) Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Monday alleged that industries are fleeing Haryana due to BJP government's flawed policies. Hooda claimed that according to government data, as many as 1,446 factories have either shut down or relocated since 2018-19 in Haryana.

Addressing media persons here, Hooda accused the Nayab Singh Saini-led BJP government in Haryana, of pushing the state backward in every sector. He said that according to the Union government's Social Progress Index (SPI), Haryana-with a score of 33 points-has emerged as the most unsafe state in the country.
