India, April 1 -- The Consulate General of India has announced a special facility for Class 12 Indian students who need NRI certificates for college admissions in India. The walk in serice to apply for the certificate will be available on April 4, 2026. Students can walk into all BLS centres in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.

This is a one-time exception given to students due to the time-sensitive nature of this matter.

All students who want to apply for NRI certificates must bring their 12th-grade documents and proof of college admission to secure an appointment.
