India, April 2 -- A Delhi-based trader has shared a sweet story about his mother who refused to accept an expensive gift, until she realised how much her son earns. Sahil Raj Kumar, whose LinkedIn profile claims he is the Managing Director of VedicCraft, shared the anecdote on X.

Sahil explained that his mother is "well off" but rarely splurges on herself. Recently, she went out shopping for glasses and found a pair priced at an exorbitant $1,200 ( Rs.1.1 lakh approximately).

"My mom doesn't exactly know how much I make. She is well off but never splurges on luxuries for herself," Sahil wrote on X. "Today she went to buy some glasses, and she VC'd me to show some of the pairs," he elaborated.
