India, Sept. 4 -- On Thursday, US Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced the creation of a new training program for America's engineering and technical talent - dubbed "Foundry School" - as part of a larger attempt to rebuild domestic manufacturing.

Founders and CEOs from India, along with talent from other partner nations like Japan, Taiwan and South Korea, will participate in the program as teachers and mentors. The initiative will be fostered within the ambit of the advanced technology Pax Silica partnership, of which India is already a member country.
