India to sustain growth of 7% or more, says FM
New Delhi, Aug. 31 -- The Indian economy has been growing at 7% or more after the Covid pandemic and it is expected to maintain the growth momentum despite global uncertainties, Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman said while addressing the Indian diaspora in Chicago.
"Uncertainties, which are before every country, are only multiplying. We thought, we saw the worst when we went through Covid," she said, adding that India actually "recovered well" and since then it is sustaining the growth at 7% or more.
