India to face SA in first game of Super 8s
New Delhi, Feb. 18 -- Defending champions India, who sealed their Super 8 spot in the T20 World Cup from Group A with a game to spare, will being their campaign in the second stage against South Africa in Ahmedabad on Sunday.
The top-ranked T20I side will then play against surprise qualifiers Zimbabwe - who knocked out Australia - in the next game, to be played in Chennai on February 26. Their final Super 8 game will be against West Indies at Eden Gardens on March 1. Regardless of which position teams finish in their groups, the Super 8 slots of teams that qualify had already been decided as per their original seeding. India, Zimbabwe, West Indies and South Africa are thus in Group 1.
