New Delhi, Aug. 19 -- India on Tuesday called for "mutuality of interest and reciprocity" in relations with Bangladesh in response to Dhaka setting the extradition of former premier Sheikh Hasina and other fugitives as a condition for a possible bilateral visit by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman. This is the first time that India has invoked the principle of reciprocity for ties with Bangladesh. "...India desires positive, constructive and forward-looking relations with Bangladesh, based on mutuality of interest and reciprocity," MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said. P10
