India secures return of fugitive drug kingpin Virender Singh Basoya from UAE, Amit Shah hails 'new milestone'
India, Aug. 14 -- The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has secured the return of fugitive drug kingpin Virender Singh Basoya from the United Arab Emirates, Union home minister Amit Shah announced on Friday as he hailed the 'milestone' of 'zero-tolerance against narcotics'.
In a statement posted on X, Shah wrote, "Modi govt is relentlessly tracking down drug traffickers hiding abroad and destroying their entire ecosystem with a ruthless approach."
