India, Aug. 23 -- Strengthening industry-academia collaborations and creating mechanisms to translate scientific research into market-ready products are crucial to India's growth in the global innovation ecosystem, said Prof V. Ramgopal Rao, Group Vice-Chancellor of BITS Pilani, at a special colloquium at IISER Pune on Saturday, August 22.

The Maharashtra Academy of Sciences and IISER Pune jointly hosted the lecture at the CV Raman Auditorium as part of IISER Pune's 20th anniversary celebrations and the academy's golden jubilee year.
