India condemns Pak's air strikes on Afghanistan
New Delhi, March 15 -- India on Saturday condemned Pakistan's air strikes on Afghanistan that caused the death of several civilians and destroyed civilian infrastructure, describing them as an act of aggression by a Pakistani establishment that is "hostile to the idea of a sovereign Afghanistan".
The Indian side has repeatedly backed the Afghan Taliban regime in Kabul in Afghanistan's clashes with Pakistan over the past few months. This was the second time that New Delhi has criticised Islamabad's actions since fighting between the two countries intensified on February 26, when Afghanistan launched an offensive along the border in retaliation for Pakistani air strikes on the Pakistani Taliban.
