New Delhi, Sept. 2 -- India and the United Arab Emirates want to expand their non-oil and non-precious metals trade to $100 billion by 2030, an official statement said on Monday, citing a bilateral meeting between Union commerce minister Piyush Goyal and UAE foreign trade minister Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, held on Friday. After reviewing the recently signed free trade agreement (FTA) between the two countries, the UAE minister said in a post on X: "The #CEPA between the UAE and India plays a vital role in stimulating trade and investment, raising our non-oil trade to $37.6bn in H1 2025."
