IIT Delhi student death: Inquiry panel gets second extension, report now due October 10
India, Oct. 1 -- Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has extended the deadline for its five-member committee investigating the circumstances surrounding the suicide of a 31-year-old student to October 10, marking the panel's second extension, HT has learnt.
The committee was scheduled to submit its findings by September 30, but the report was not submitted by the deadline due to delay in recording of statements, according to a source.
