India, Aug. 30 -- Students of the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT-D) on Saturday continued to protest over the death of 31-year-old student Rishikesh Kumar, stating that they were undeterred by threats of disciplinary action and would continue their peaceful demonstrations on the campus.

The latest development comes against the backdrop of IIT-D director Rangan Banerjee sending an email, warning of " actions against individuals disrupting the peaceful functioning of the campus" over "unsavoury, humiliating and threatening language in their slogans" in demonstrations in front of faculty housing.

Students, however, said that they were only urging the faculty to support them with slogans of "Come out, professors. Come and support...
