IAS officer Mandeep Bhandari appointed new CBSE chairman; 3rd to hold post in 4 months
India, Sept. 25 -- In less than three months, the Centre has appointed its third CBSE chairperson, naming senior IAS officer Mandeep K. Bhandari as the new head of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), replacing the interim arrangement under which Lokhande Prashant Sitaram was holding additional charge of the post.
His appointment marks the third officer to head the national education board in less than 4 months since June 2, after the On-Screen Marking (OSM) controversy.
