IAF officer dies by suicide in raipur, probe launched

Raipur, March 13 -- A 39-year-old Indian Air Force (IAF) officer was found dead at his residence in Raipur, police said on Thursday, suspecting it to be a case of suicide. The Wing Commander was posted in tasks related to anti-Naxal operations, a police officer said, adding his domestic help found him dead inside his room on Wednesday morning. His son and daughter were sleeping in another room, the officer said. His wife, who previously served in IAF, works in the IT sector in Bengaluru. No suicide note was found, and further probe was underway, the officer said.HTC
