India, Aug. 12 -- I never thought I would care much about having a "smart" AC. For me, an AC just needed to cool the room quickly and keep things comfortable. But after using one for a while, I started relying on a few features more than I expected.

The biggest change was convenience. I could switch the AC on before reaching home, change the temperature without getting up, and check what was happening even when I wasn't in the room. I also found myself using features that I would have probably ignored while buying the AC.
