India, Aug. 14 -- Celebrations for the 80th Independence Day are in full swing in Delhi with just one day left. The much-awaited Independence Day parade is set to take place on Saturday, August 15 at Red Fort in New Delhi.

The program typically includes the ceremonial hoisting of the national flag and the Prime Minister's address, among other official proceedings. As a fresh addition to this year's program Vande Mataram, the country's national song, will be sung in full for the first time at the celebrations.
