India, April 2 -- How time flies! Can't believe it's been 15 years today since India won their second 50-overs World Cup in 2011. Pleasant memories all around, with MS Dhoni hitting that glorious match-winning six into the stands in the final against Sri Lanka at the Wankhede Stadium.
But that World Cup win wasn't just about pleasant memories. The sidelining of some of the top Indian players was also set in motion, kind of right in the aftermath of the win. And that created serious vitriol in Indian cricket for many years.
