India, July 6 -- The Delhi High Court on Monday issued a notice to the Centre after members and staff of the Gymkhana Club in Delhi moved a plea challenging a show-cause notice issued to the club to evict.

The government had issued a notice to the Lutyens' Delhi club barely a month after assuring the Delhi HC that any eviction would be carried out only in accordance with law and after prior notice.
