HC vacates order restraining trial court from framing charges in Delhi riots larger conspiracy case
India, June 6 -- The Delhi High Court on Friday vacated its interim order restraining the trial court from passing a final order on framing charges in the Delhi riots larger conspiracy case.
Justice Neena Bansal Krishna vacated the September 2024 order, while dismissing a petition filed by Pinjra Tod activist Devangana Kalita.
Kalita had sought access to electronic evidence, including CCTV footage of the northeast Delhi area, documents and data the police relied upon while filing the chargesheets in the Delhi riots larger conspiracy case.
