Bhopal, July 17 -- The Madhya Pradesh High Court has stayed the finalisation of a Rs.350-crore tender for supplying school uniforms to more than 5.2 million students in government-run primary and middle schools, after a petition by manufacturers' body alleged that the eligibility conditions unfairly excluded local industries and MSMEs. Hearing a plea filed by the Jabalpur Apparel Innovation and Manufacturing Association , a division bench of acting chief justice Vivek Rusia and justice Vinay Saraf on Wednesday directed the state government to file its response within a week.
