Hc stays razing accused's home in mp hooch case
Bhopal, Sept. 19 -- The Madhya Pradesh high court has stayed the state government's order for demolition of homes of the accused in the spurious liquor case that killed 16 in Sagar district.
Justice Vishal Mishra passed the order granting interim relief in a petition filed by one of the 36 accused in the case on Thursday. "Considering the aforesaid, as a matter of interim relief, it is directed that no further demolition of property related to this case shall take place until the next hearing date," reads the court order.
Liquor trader Siddharth Singh Kushwaha and his mother filed the petition challenging the demolition of their property and frequent police summons.
