Chandigarh, Oct. 8 -- The Punjab and Haryana high court has sought response from Dera Sacha Sauda and editors and publishers of two national dailies over publishing Dera Sacha Sauda advertisements claiming that its head, Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, was "being targeted as part of a conspiracy".

The case was listed on Wednesday before the bench of justice Vinod S Bhardwaj and justice Ravinder Malik, that adjourned the matter for consideration on November 25.

The suo motu note was taken by justice Subhash Mehla on September 16. The full-page advertisements in question were published on September 12 under the heading: "What is Dera Sacha Suada (Facts vs Fiction)".
