Hyderabad, Sept. 19 -- The Telangana high court on Friday disqualified Khairatabad MLA Danam Nagender under the anti-defection law, terminating his assembly membership with retrospective effective from April 23, 2024, people familiar with the matter said. A division bench comprising chief justice Aparesh Kumar Singh and justice GM Mohiuddin delivered the judgment, setting aside the earlier order issued by assembly speaker G Prasad Kumar on March 11.
