Karnal, Aug. 23 -- Chairman of the Madhya Pradesh Agriculture Development Committee and BJP MLA Thakur Das Nagvanshi on Saturday praised Haryana for its commendable work on crop residue management.

The committee, led by the chairman, was in Kurukshetra, where they participated in a program organised by the Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) of the Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (CCSHAU), Hisar.

Nagvanshi said that despite Madhya Pradesh growing high-yield and excellent-quality wheat, the government has been unable to control stubble burning.
