Chandigarh, Sept. 19 -- Haryana chief minister Nayab Singh Saini on Saturday sought an "integrated natural farming and water security funding package" from the Union government, stating that the area under natural and organic farming in the state is expected to reach 50,000 acres during the current fiscal year.

Saini, who attended the two-day conference on 'Financing India's Journey Towards Viksit Bharat' at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on Saturday, highlighted Haryana's significant contribution to the country's foodgrain reserves and self-reliance.
