Haryana ACB to have app for corruption complaint
Panchkula, June 5 -- The Haryana State Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) is set to launch a mobile application for people to lodge their complaints, ACB chief AS Chawla said on Thursday.
Addressing a press conference at the ACB headquarters in Panchkula,Chawla said the app would provide citizens with direct, real-time access to the bureau and enable them to submit videos, photographs and other evidence related to corruption. The app will also allow anonymous reporting.
67 trap operations in 5 months
Chawla said that between January 1 and May 31, the bureau registered 83 criminal cases. Of these, 67 were trap cases in which corruption accused, including eight Group-B officers, 51 Group-C employees and nine private individuals, ...
