Haryana: 11 bills passed on session's last day
Chandigarh, Sept. 2 -- The Haryana assembly on Tuesday passed 11 Bills including the Haryana State Commission for Minorities Bill for setting up a state minorities commission to provide an institutional arrangement for evaluating the safeguards provided in the Constitution and laws for the protection of minorities.
According to the statement of objects and reasons, the commission will make recommendations to ensure effective implementation of safeguards and laws in Haryana.
