India, Oct. 4 -- Family members of a 40-year-old woman, who died by suicide, protested outside the Tila Morh police station with her body on Saturday, alleging harassment by the police and the family of a 14-year-old girl who went missing on September 9, police said.

Police said a case of abduction was filed on September 9 against the deceased woman's 20-year-old son based on a complaint by the girl's family.

The protest alleged that 10-12 family members of the girl arrived at their house early on September 30 and threatened them, including the deceased woman.
