Ghaziabad, April 26 -- In view of the rising temperature, the Ghaziabad district magistrate on Saturday directed all schools to change timings for classes 1 to 8, with lessons beginning at 7.30am and ending by 12.30pm, officials said. The rule, effective from Monday onwards, applies to both government and private schools, officials said. According to the Indian Meteorological Department's (IMD) forecast on Saturday, a "heat wave" was prevailing in Ghaziabad, with the maximum temperature of 40.8degC and the minimum temperature of 25.4degC.htc
