Ghaziabad, June 4 -- The Ghaziabad district administration on Wednesday demolished an allegedly illegal madrasa built on government land in Kallugarhi near Dasna, officials said. The structure, spread across about one hectare of a five-hectare government plot, was razed using earthmovers amid heavy security deployment. District magistrate Ravinder Kumar Mandar said the administration had also issued a recovery notice of Rs.1.23 crore and estimated the land's value at around Rs.25 crore. The action comes days after authorities sealed two madrasas in Khoda and filed FIRs.
