Govt reopens PLI window for ACs, LED lights
New Delhi, Sept. 15 -- The Union government has reopened the application window under the production linked incentive (PLI) scheme for three months starting from Monday, in a move to boost domestic manufacturing of white goods, the commerce and industry ministry said on Sunday.
The PLI application window for air conditioned and LED lights is being reopened "based on the appetite of the industry" to invest more under the scheme, the ministry said in a statement.
