Govt extends ED director Rahul Navin's tenure by 1 year
India, Aug. 9 -- The government, on Sunday, extended Enforcement Directorate (ED) Director Rahul Navin's tenure by one year, keeping him in the post until August 13, 2027.
According to an order issued by the Union Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the extension for Navin, who is a 1993-batch Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer.
The extension will continue beyond his scheduled retirement on July 31, 2027, according to the government order.
Navin hails from Bihar and has an outstanding academic background, holding B.Tech and M.Tech degrees from IIT Kanpur and an MBA from Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne.
