New Delhi, April 28 -- The Delhi government's excise department has announced five "dry days" over the coming months on the occasions of Buddha Purnima, Eid al-Adha, Muharram, Independence Day, and Janmashtami. According to an order issued under Rule 52 of the Delhi Excise Rules, 2010, the designated dry days are May 1 (Buddha Purnima), May 27 (Id-ul-Zuha), June 26 (Muharram), August 15 (Independence Day), and September 9 (Janmashtami).
