New Delhi, July 15 -- Google has expanded its artificial intelligence (AI) strategy in India with new initiatives designed to prepare developers, startups, and enterprises for an agentic AI era. At Tuesday's Google I/O Connect India keynote, the company noted that the Google Play and Android ecosystems contributed Rs.5.3 lakh crore in revenue to India's digital economy last year. The expansion focuses heavily on equipping the local ecosystem with frontier tools.
