India, Sept. 22 -- The upcoming election to the 25-member board of directors of the Kolhapur District Cooperative Milk Producers' Union, widely known by its popular brand name Gokul, is expected to turn into a high-voltage political contest between a panel led by Congress leader Satej Patil and one from the ruling Mahayuti, comprising Maharashtra ministers Hasan Mushrif, Chandrakant Patil, and Prakash Abitkar, and BJP MP Dhananjay Mahadik.
