India, March 2 -- The Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority's (GMDA's) enforcement wing has decided to conduct a drone survey of all villages within its limits to identify illegal constructions and encroachments, officials said.
According to GMDA's enforcement officials, the authority has found that illegal constructions and developments are underway in 42 villages, against which legal action will be planned.
"It has been observed that illegal constructions and violations have increased in villages, and GMDA has issued around 250 notices to violators.
