New Delhi, Sept. 3 -- Global temperature rise is likely to cross the 1.5degC threshold by decade-end, pushing climate risks and impacts to dangerous levels, a UN Environment Programme report released on Wednesday said. It said human-induced global warming is nearing 1.4degC above pre-industrial levels and observes that global temperatures have been rising about 0.25degC per decade.P13
