India, April 3 -- A 30-year-old woman was arrested on Thursday for allegedly murdering her husband over a domestic dispute in their house at Khoda on March 31 night, said a police officer.

The accused was identified as a native of Farrukhabad and the deceased was identified as a 35-year-old. The couple married 11 years ago and has two minor children, aged nine and six.

According to the police, on March 31, the couple was alone at their home and had an altercation.

"During the dispute, the deceased was in an inebriated state, and his wife smothered him to death. Since the man had drinks, he could not resist. Later, his family rushed him to a local hospital and later to a hospital in Delhi, where he was declared dead," said Abhishek Sriv...
