New Delhi, Sept. 9 -- Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi on Monday interviewed numerous party leaders as the Congress plans to appoint several secretaries to boost the organisation. According to two leaders aware of the process, Gandhi met aspirants in a few batches but he was "not happy" to see a large number of newly elected district presidents of the Congress to appear for the "interview", said a senior leader. A senior leader said, "Gandhi felt that the district level leaders should focus on their current responsibility- to strengthen the grassroots-level organisation- and not try to secure promotion by becoming secretaries of the party in Delhi."
