LUCKNOW, April 6 -- : Uttar Pradesh's excise department's annual revenue rose to Rs.57,722.26 crore in the 2025-26 financial year, which the department claimed was the highest ever revenue generation. The target set for the 2025-26 fiscal was Rs.63,000 crore.

The figure marks a growth of 9.79%, an increase of Rs.5,149.19 crore compared to the Rs.52,573.07 crore revenue generated in the 2024-25 financial year. The target for the 2026-27 financial year has been set at Rs.71,278 crore with a special focus on export policy.
