India, Sept. 29 -- The Central Crime Branch of Tamil Nadu police on Monday registered a fresh Pocso case against granite baron R Veeramani, officials said.

Veeramani is currently in custody, along with alleged accomplices, Ganeshan, Shanthi and her husband Mahandra Simhan.

The fresh case was registered based on a complaint by a woman who alleged that Veeramani sexually assaulted her minor daughter.

The mother appeared in person at the SIT's offices in Chennai to file her complaint on Monday.
